Richard Walker

Richard Walker, CEO of York Solutions and author of Relationship Equity, is a visionary leader dedicated to empowering businesses through innovative technology solutions and meaningful community impact. Originally from Settle, England, Richard began his career as a bricklaying apprentice before moving to the U.S. in 1994. His path shifted into IT recruiting in St. Louis, which led him to co-found York Solutions.

Since then, he has guided York’s growth into a trusted partner for delivering predictable IT and technology services. Under his leadership, the company expanded into Minneapolis in 2000 and nine years later launched Think IT, a free professional development network serving thousands of technology leaders. Richard is also the driving force behind York’s Emerging Talent Program, which helps non-traditional professionals build careers in IT.

Committed to giving back, Richard actively supports organizations such as Genesys Works and Holes for Hope, reflecting his belief in building lasting relationships, creating opportunity, and using business as a catalyst for positive change.
