Rich Walker

Rich Walker became part of York Solutions in 2025, bringing nearly three decades of comprehensive experience in Information Technology. As Chief Technology and Digital Officer, he oversees the Technology Solutions group, which delivers outcome-focused technology initiatives tailored to York’s clientele.

Before joining York Solutions, Rich served as Chief Information Officer at Bluestem Brands, where he directed the organization’s transition from traditional data center operations to a cloud-based application and infrastructure platform. His career encompasses IT strategy and transformation leadership for both Fortune 100 enterprises and emerging companies, guiding successful M&A integrations, digital transformations, extensive cloud migrations, and operational restructurings. Rich has contributed his expertise across diverse sectors including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and B2B distribution, consistently leveraging technology to address complex business challenges and drive organizational clarity, scalability, and change.

Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
