13 Years of Giving Back: Celebrating the Think IT Charity Golf Invitational

Every year, the Think IT Charity Golf Invitational brings together technology leaders, clients, partners, and friends for a day on the course. While the golf is always a great time, the heart of the event has never been about the game. It has always been about creating opportunities for the next generation.

This year marked the 13th Annual Think IT Charity Golf Invitational benefiting Genesys Works Twin Cities. As we look back on another incredible event, we’re reminded of the power of a community that comes together with a shared purpose.

Over the past 13 years, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, donors, and supporters, we have raised more than $2.6 million to support the life-changing work of Genesys Works Twin Cities.

A Partnership That Changes Lives

At York Solutions, we believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t always equally accessible.

That’s why our partnership with Genesys Works Twin Cities means so much to us. Their mission of preparing high school students for meaningful careers through professional skills training, paid internships, and career readiness aligns closely with our own commitment to developing talent and strengthening the workforce.

Every dollar raised helps open doors for students, providing experiences, mentorship, and opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives.

More Than a Golf Tournament

What started as a fundraising event has grown into something much bigger.

The Think IT Charity Golf Invitational has become a tradition that brings together an incredible community of business and technology leaders who believe in investing in people. Year after year, we see organizations rally around a cause that extends far beyond a single day on the golf course.

Whether sponsoring a hole, donating a raffle item, volunteering, or spending the day golfing, every person who participates helps make a lasting impact.

Investing in the Future

One of the most rewarding parts of our partnership is seeing the students who benefit from these opportunities.

Watching young professionals gain confidence, build new skills, and begin successful careers is a powerful reminder of why this event matters. Their success strengthens our community, our industry, and the future workforce.

It’s especially exciting to see students continue to benefit from new technologies and innovative learning experiences that help prepare them for today’s workplace while building confidence for tomorrow.

Thank You

Reaching more than $2.6 million raised over 13 years is an incredible milestone, and it would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our community.

To our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, raffle donors, and everyone who has supported this event over the years, thank you. Your generosity continues to create opportunities that will have an impact for generations to come.

We’re also grateful to the team at Genesys Works Twin Cities for the work they do every day to empower students and help them realize their potential.

Thirteen years later, our commitment remains as strong as ever. We look forward to continuing this partnership, growing our impact, and helping even more students build brighter futures.
