Business System AnalystSome description

A direct client of York is seeking an experienced BSA with expertise in Lawson HR/Payroll systems. The client is looking to add this individual to the team on a long-term, contract-to-hire basis. Job duties/qualifications are as follows:

Overview:

The Sr. HR/Payroll Business Systems Analyst drives organized implementation and support solutions in the business and ancillary areas. Accountable for implementation of new workflow, and builds designs through the use of expertise and skill in project management, technical support, data collection, analysis, and presentation. Defines, develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains Lawson Software Applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards within a healthcare environment
  • Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
  • Drives the standardization of system implementation/deployment processes and standards on applications
  • Accountable for the application and report design, build, testing, implementation and documentation
  • When applicable: writes, codes and/or configures, and tests software programs and applications
  • Designs and develops reports using reporting tools as well as creating complex queries using SQL

Qualifications:

  • Prior healthcare experience
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in one or more aspects of building and supporting health systems in an electronic environment
  • Experience working with technical build of electronic health system
  • Technical Writing: Ability to write technical information in a clear and concise manner and to be able to convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences
  • Lawson system experience - talent management and core Lawson HR

Senior Software Engineer

Overview:

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll work on everything from customer-facing web and mobile applications using cutting-edge open source frameworks, to highly-available RESTful services, to back-end, Java-based systems using the hottest techniques in Big Data. You'll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, Java, AngularJS, React, Python, REST, JSON, XML, Ruby, HTML/HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, relational databases, Hadoop, Chef, Maven, iOS, Android, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure, to name a few.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of SDLC experience using Java EE technologies for Middleware and Backend Integration
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs using Spring or Jersey deploying on public cloud
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience building APIs using Java
  • At least 1 year of experience in one of the following: RDBMS, SQL, No-SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB
  • At least 2 years of CI/CD and DevOps experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in one of the following Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Chef or Terraform

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in object-oriented in Java
  • At least 4 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Web Services, RESTful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON and XML
  • At least 3 years of experience coding and using JavaScript Frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery and Node.js
  • At least 3 years of experience with one of the following Web services like SOAP, REST and JSON and database technologies (MySQL, SQL)
  • At least 1 year of experience in AWS or similar cloud computing environments with infrastructure and configuration management tools like Ansible, Docker, and Mesos

Ionic Developer  

A direct client of York Solutions is seeking an Ionic Framework Developer to join their team either in Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN. Candidate will work onsite for 4 weeks for knowledge transfer, then can work remotely for the duration of the contract. Initial contract is slated to go through the end of 2017 with high chance of extension through 2018.

Ideal candidate will possess experience in the following:

  • Ionic Framework
  • Open Source hybrid mobile app development
  • AngularJS
  • CSS, HTML5, and SASS

The client has a mobile app developed in the Ionic Framework. They have an immediate need of a resource that can make some enhancements to this app and provide on-going support in case issues arise.

QA Engineer Analyst 

The quality Engineering Analyst will be working on a Prospective Payment System. This role will involve a variety of testing activities, analyzing scope and requirements to determine the testing needs, designing the test cases and data, executing the tests, and managing defect resolutions.

In this role, you will be working with software architects, engineering leads, and other members of the software engineering team.

Must have experience with TFS and HP-ALM.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Release management/regression testing experience
  • Experience with automated testing tools and automation scripting
  • Experience with SQL Query and Schema
  • Experience with SoapUI, LoadRunner or other automated testing tools
  • Experience with automating API and interface testing
