Site Operations AdministratorSome description

Our direct end client in downtown Chicago is looking for several Site Operations Administrators for contract-to-hire positions. 

This person needs to have a very strong troubleshooting skill set. They must be someone who will take the initiative to dig into problems and fix problems. The most important qualification for a candidate is being a technically sound Linux/Systems Administrator. Good communication skills and being a good team player are also highly important. All other technical qualifications can be learned on-site via documentation that is already in place. 

As a Site Operations Administrator you’d be tasked with monitoring critical network elements and engaging in proactive network systems monitoring and provide 24/7 operational monitoring and support to network, systems, and assets. You are responsible for technical support and issue resolution that come into the SOC from customer and/or monitoring software. You'd use a wide variety of Ops tools and monitoring platforms to gain knowledge and understanding; to enable persistent monitoring of system availability, performance, and capacity.

• Support and perform maintenance across product and data environments/systems
• Proactively monitor events, investigate issues, analyze solutions, and drive problems through to resolution
• Maintain the network environment; utilize all provided utilities, tools, and applications; ensure a high level of service availability
• Respond to network/system alarms; take appropriate action to classify, prioritize, and resolve network and system issues
• Provide critical service outage notification and escalate issues for timely resolution; notify escalation teams as appropriate

• Excellent understanding of Linux, Bash and Shell scripting
• Knowledge of and experience with network stack, protocols, network management and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of AWS technologies - EC2, S3
• Experience with automation tools: Puppet, Chef, Docker, Jenkins and/or Ansible
• Previous experience in a Network Operations Center, Site Operations Center, or Security Operations Center is preferred

Sr. User Researcher

One of our large healthcare clients is seeking a Sr. User Researcher to join their team in Boston, MA. This is solely a Researcher role. The ideal candidate will also bring experience acting as a Team Lead. Candidates should also be comfortable meeting with Product Teams, understanding research work and making suggestions. 

Needed Skills/Experience:
• 7+ years of experience as a usability practitioner 
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience delivering user research, including but not limited to developing user personas, conducting field studies / contextual inquiry, and usability testing 
• Experience working in a team environment or with an application team 

Preferred Skills:
• Eye-tracking experience preferred 
• Experience with CogTool preferred 
• Experience with Camtasia preferred 
• Experience with tools such as UserZoom, UserTesting.com, Optimal Workshop and other industry standard tools preferred 
• Agile experience preferred 
• Healthcare Industry experience desired 
• Preference for commercial software experience or enterprise applications

SAP QM Super User

Our direct end client in St. Paul, MN is looking for a SAP QM Super user for a 12+ month contract. Must be local to the MN area. 

Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of SAP Quality Management Super User will support the global deployment of the ERP system, SAP, for the Healthcare business group. This position provides the opportunity to work across countries, divisions, and organizations in one of the company's strategic initiatives. 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Leads deployment of SAP Quality Management functionality at Healthcare manufacturing plants
• Supports the global design of the ERP system including business analysis, requirements definition, testing, and training
• Facilitates change across global organization to standardized processes and capabilities
• Identifies value realization opportunities offered by new system

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Quality Management

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a Healthcare industry
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Influencing and strong communication skills
