York Enterprise Solutions Partners with EC-BP
Posted on September 12, 2005  -  Westchester, IL - In a move to back solid business practices, York Enterprise Solutions, a technical and financial consulting firm, announced today it has become an affiliate with eCommerce Best Practices. EC-BP is an organization dedicated to standardizing eCommerce and EDI.

In order to amalgamate with EC-BP companies must adopt several maxims, including: use of realistic timeframes for implementation of eCommerce initiatives and the implementation of eCommerce systems that are compliant with industry standards.

The affiliation between the two companies consists of working together to circulate pertinent information regarding EDI and eCommerce standards.

York Enterprise Solutions gains Exclusivity Contract
Posted on July 7, 2005  -  Westchester, IL - York Enterprise Solutions announced today it has signed a contract to become the exclusive vendor for one of its largest clients. Their client, a nationwide education finance company, headquartered in Virginia, has worked with York since the start of 2004.

The client’s decision came as a result of York being able to meet the vast majority of their IT staffing needs over a period of eighteen months. York’s innovative and flexible model enabled them to provide close to 100 highly qualified resources on a contract and contract for hire basis. York’s proprietary tools are designed to provide a highly customizable service to meet the specific needs of each and every client.

York Enterprise Solutions wins Annual Award for Business Excellence
Posted on April 26, 2005  -  Westchester, IL - York Enterprise Solutions, an innovative Technical and Financial Consulting firm, announced today it was chosen as a recipient of the Annual Award for Business Excellence (AABE). With eighty-eight total nominees in several different categories, York took top honors in the Emerging Entrepreneurial division. Hosted by the Business Ledger, the award recognizes companies that have excelled in business management. York Enterprise Solutions has displayed constant growth alongside an understanding of meeting customer needs and fostering a community among its employees.

York Enterprise Solutions Becomes Member of the Better Business Bureau
Posted on April 18, 2005  -  Westchester, IL - York Enterprise Solutions is proud to announce acceptance and membership into the Chicago and Northern Illinois Better Business Bureau. Being affiliated with the BBB allows York to effectively illustrate its commitment to high ethical standards and desire to maintain good business practices.

Brandi Will, Manager of Marketing, stated, “York has always been devoted to customer needs along with constantly looking to better itself in any way, shape, or form. While we already know that, the Better Business Bureau will back up and strengthen that foundation.”

Standards are at the forefront for both the BBB and York. Several that are of incredible importance include: voluntary self-regulation within its industry, maintaining excellent customer service skills, adhering to any policies set forth, and to abstain from any activity that can be reflected negatively upon the BBB and its members.

York is now a member though March 2006, where they will then go through the renewal process.



York Employment Solutions sells its’ Office Services practice
Posted on November 21st, 2004  -  Westchester, IL - York Employment Solutions, one of the York Group of Companies, sold its Office Services Temporary Business to the Advanced Group of Companies on November 19, 2004. The Office Services division was the first division of the York Group of Companies, founded in 1989.

“We were thrilled to be able to take this piece of our business and pass it on to such a reputable firm. The Advanced Group of companies has a similar vision, and operates with the same values that the York family has for 15 years. The ability of some of the York team members being able to move with our temporary employees was a huge incentive for us to sell at this time”, said Julie Jacobs, managing partner of York.

York Employment Solutions will now be able to focus on the continued growth of its accounting and finance consulting divisions which were started in 2004. It was a win-win for all of those involved.

“It was exciting the first year and even more so this year.” said Bill Carr, CEO. “It shows me that the constant evaluation of our processes and the leveraging of technology has paid off. It again shows the strength of our staff in not only maintaining business, but also growing business in very tough market conditions. To be eligible for this year’s Inc. 500, companies had to be independent and privately held through 2000 sales and had to have also exceeded 1999 sales. This year’s Inc. 500 set records in terms of both collective sales and growth rates, raking up a collective total of $12.5 billion in sales and an average 5-year growth rate of almost 2,000%!
